The USEA has now (finally) released their official “2018 Version” of the NAJYRC selection procedures, which I have attached. We will also post them on the web site.
Please review the attached document relevant to you (NAJY = CCI1*; CICOY = CIC2*). The most important information is that:
- You must be current with your FEI, USEF, and USEA registrations, including your YR status; and
- On Feb 6, 2018, the USEA application (sometimes call the “Intent to Qualify” form) will be available (if I understand correctly, via your Rider Portal on the USEA web site). You must submit that form by March 1, 2018.
To be clear, the application that you already submitted (to me) was to Area I, and was requested separately from the USEF Intent to Qualify in order to ensure that we had information early enough to plan selector schedules (e.g., who will be at which selection trial, based on rider schedules, etc) and training clinics. I and the selectors have some flexibility relating to that application (and, for example, can accept late applications for good reason, etc). But, we have no ability to waive any requirements or deadlines set by the USEF, which is the parent organization. So, please be sure to read the following documents and don’t miss the March 1 deadline!
