Guest Speaker Tik Maynard
Big Picture Ideas to Get Along Better with Your Horse. (and also compete more successfully.
Tik Maynard is a renowned trainer that utilizes horsemanship and jumping and dressage training to develop young horses into internationally competitive three-day
event horses. Tik is originally from Vancouver, Canada, and has a B.A. from the University of British Columbia. He is married to US Team and 4 star event rider, Sinead Halpin.
Tik attended 3 World Championships and the 2007 Pan-American Games in Modern Pentathlon in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Tik has been on the Canadian Eventing Team since 2012. In 2014 Tik won the Indoor Eventing competition at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto. In 2015 Tik won the Freestyle at the Thoroughbred Makeover.
As an eventer and riding instructor for the past 14 years, Andrea Waldo works with many adult amateurs who are passionate about their riding but feel blocked by their fears and anxieties.
Andrea has competed through the Intermediate Level in eventing and Third Level in dressage, and currently has a Thoroughbred gelding eventing at the Intermediate level along with students’ horses competing through Training level.
