The Area 1 Young Rider Program is excited to welcome Blue Seal as the “Camp Sponsor” of the Young Rider annual camp that is scheduled to take place at Green Mountain Horse Association in South Woodstock, VT, July 15-18, 2024.
“Kent Nutrition Group was formed to bring out the best in two highly successful regional feed companies — Kent and Blue Seal. Founded in 1927, Kent has grown to become a leading animal nutrition brand in the Midwest. Blue Seal began in 1868 and has since grown into a leading animal nutrition brand in the East. Together, the Kent and Blue Seal brands are the most trusted and preeminent regionally focused animal nutrition brands in the United States. As a result, Kent Nutrition Group is dedicated to helping them both bring their legacies of quality products to even more customers who are seeking the highest quality nutrition for their animals — whether for livestock, horses, pets or small animals.”
The Area 1 Young Rider Program is thrilled to have Blue Seal coming on as the “Camp Sponsor” for our annual camp set to take place in July at GMHA. Blue Seal joined us in 2023 for an evening on Equine Nutrition which is an incredibly important topic for our up-and-coming next-generation demographic. Each camper certainly walked away with an increased level of knowledge and we are so excited for their return in 2024.
Summer camps… Where the great outdoors, because your greatest classroom… And even better with horses! @Blue Seal would like to wish the Area 1 Young Riders the most fun at camp this year!

The purpose of the program is to support and encourage Area 1 members up to the age of 25 to become involved in the sport of Eventing and perhaps continue this involvement into their adult lives as members of a US Team, volunteers at local events, coaches, trainers, competitors, and consumers of equine products. If you would like to learn more about sponsorship opportunities please contact Area 1 Young Rider Coordinator, Melanie Loschiavo (melanie.loschiavo@gmail.com)
