The Area 1 Young Rider Spring Symposium is held in the spring at Universiity of New Hampshire in Durham, New Hampshire. This is a one-day event where attendees participate in two (2) panel discussions focusing on life with horses after high school and careers in the equine industry and two (2) workshops focusing on equine welfare and spring conditioning. The Spring Symposium is FREE for both active Area 1 Young Riders, United States Pony Club members, and UNH students.

Schedule:
- 9:30 a.m.: Check-in/Registration/Coffee/Tea
- 9:45 a.m.: Welcome
- 10:00 a.m.: Panel 1 – “Horses after High School”
- 11:00 a.m.: Panel 2 – “Professionals in the Equine World”
- 12:15 p.m: Delicious lunch sandwich buffet served
- 12:45 p.m.: Organize afternoon workshops. Divide into 2 groups
- 12:45 p.m.: Workshop Rotation 1 – Saddle Fitting with Sue Berrill or Spring Fitness with Stephie Baer
- 1:30 p.m.: Workshop Rotation 2 – Spring Fitness with Stephie Baer or Saddle Fitting with Sue Berrill
- 2:15 p.m.: Symposium Wrap-Up

IMPORTANT! – Complete the sign-up with all the uploaded documents and payment (if applicable) no later than May 30, 2025. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. Applications without payment (if applicable) will not be accepted. Spots will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis until the symposium is full. Camp registration will close when full, and a waitlist will be taken.
