Sweetheart’s Horse Treats returns as an Area 1 Young Rider Program Sponsor

April 5, 2025

The Area 1 Young Rider Program is excited to announce that Sweetheart’s Horse Treats is continuing sponsorship with our program for a third year! The story of Sweetheart’s Horse Treats is one filled with the love of horses!

“We wanted to use high-quality ingredients to craft simply delicious treats our horses and ponies wouldn’t be able to resist. That’s why, in 2016, Chelsea Sprague decided to open up shop – right in her own Vermont farm kitchen! As a mother of two daughters who share her love of horses, Chelsea has perfected her recipe over years of horse shows, riding camps, and horsey friends’ birthdays. Our Vermont-made, heart-shaped horse treats are filled with love and topped with your horse’s favorite sweet; if you don’t see your pony’s preferred candy contact us for a special order! We know your horses will love Sweetheart’s Horse Treats as much as we all love our horses.”

The Area 1 Young Rider Program is thrilled to have Sweetheart’s Horse Treats continued support for our program and we are so thankful to have Area 1 based businesses supporting our program.

About Area 1 Young Riders

The purpose of the program is to support and encourage Area 1 members up to the age of 25 to become involved in the sport of Eventing and perhaps continue this involvement into their adult lives as members of a US Team, volunteers at local events, coaches, trainers, competitors, and consumers of equine products. If you would like to learn more about sponsorship opportunities please contact Area 1 Young Rider Coordinator, Melanie Loschiavo (melanie.loschiavo@gmail.com)
