CVPC is excited to host Daniel Stewart, international sports psychology clinician and USA Olympic coach, for an incredible 2 day clinic. The clinic will be mentally challenging and physically fun. The clinic will be held at Mystic Valley Hunt Club in Ledyard, CT. All riders should be able to walk, trot, and canter safely on their own and accurately follow spontaneous directions. Please, no horses that need serious re-training. If you have a horse that refuses constantly, ducks out or dumps you repeatedly, this is not the clinic for that horse.
Clinic is limited to 12 riders each day. There will be 3 riding levels offered each day and will include an interactive seminar. Mounted riders will be placed in one of 3 groups based on their current ability. Please note that the clinic focuses on sports psychology for the rider and will not challenge the physical ability of the horse. Riders and auditors are highly encouraged to participate in both days of the clinic.
Cost:
Ride Both Days* + Seminars Both Days ($300). Option to ride either day with seminar-$150.00
Audit: $25/Day (Both Days: $40)
*Riders who ride both days will have the option of having ONE auditor attend the weekend for free*
Other details:
All horses must have a negative Coggins and health certificate (proof of Rabies vaccination). Waivers required. Please contact organizer for information regarding overnight stabling.
