We are excited to be working on another clinic with Andrea Waldo at Hidden Meadow Farm this year!
Andrea’s new book is slated to arrive in September and new material is being added to her program.
Whether you’re struggling with fear or you are plagued with perfectionism this clinic is designed for you.
There is a 3 hour unmounted session before any riding is done.
*Flatwork is always private.
*Groups of 2-4 riders for ground poles and up.
If we have enough interest, we will do BOTH Saturday and Sunday. Otherwise it will be Sunday only.

About Andrea:
Andrea Monsarrat Waldo is a former psychotherapist and is a riding instructor certified in 2008 by the United States Eventing Association. She is co-owner of Triple Combination Farm in Ferrisburgh, Vermont, training horses and riders of all ages and abilities in the sports of eventing and dressage. Andrea has competed through the advanced level in eventing, has shown through third level in dressage, and has brought along several horses from the very beginning of their training. She now does StressLess Riding Performance Coaching in workshops and individual sessions with equestrians at all levels of horse sports. She remains dedicated to constant development in both her riding and psychological training by seeking out regular riding instruction and staying abreast of current literature in equestrian theory, psychology, and neuroscience. She is the author of “Brain Training For Riders,” available by Trafalgar Square Books.

About the Farm:
Our farm is situated on 55 acres in upstate New York, about 5 minutes off exit 10 from I-87. We have a long stone driveway that wraps around our indoor arena for easy traveling.
Our arenas are sand based and maintained regularly.

About the Clinic:
This clinic is intended to be an all day event, not just “show up for your time.” We begin our day on Saturday with a 3 hour workshop based on Andrea’s book “Brain Training for Riders.” New this year will feature content related to Andrea’s upcoming release “The Imperfect Ride.”
Sunday will be riding only. Option to ride in our pasture over easy terrain and small starter level jumps (VERY weather dependent) on Sunday only.
Privates may be available but first come first served and reserved for flat sessions. Although our farm is mixed discipline and we welcome ALL disciplines, in order to simplify we will base levels off eventing. Groundpoles, X Rails, Starter (2’3″), Beginner Novice (2’7″), Novice (2’11”), Training (3’3″) etc.

Fees:
All fees include lunch.
Riders:
$200 Per Rider.
Boarders of Hidden Meadow: $175
Rider MAY choose to add additional rides (additional horse or ride both days for additional $90 per ride).
Auditors:
FULL Audit: Includes lecture and both days of auditing: $75
Both days Riding portion only, no lecture…Sat afternoon and all day Sunday: $40
Saturday all day: Includes lecture and riding portion: $60
Sunday all day: Includes only the riding portion: $25

Each rider may have one trainer, parent, or groom. All participants riding or non-riding must sign a release and pre-register prior to the event. Spots are not reserved until payment is received in full. Payments are not refundable unless your spot is able to be filled from the waitlist.
Horses must have negative coggins and rabies vaccine within 12 months of clinic. Proof of flu/rhino within 6 months. If using a day stall you must also have a strangles vaccine within 12 months.
We have VERY limited day/overnight stalls are available for $50. Please let us know as soon as possible to reserve your stall.
Stalls must be clean when you leave, pitchforks and wheelbarrows are available on the farm.

We will need a couple of volunteers (2-3) to work on the jump crew for the afternoon. We will provide lunch. Please be available to work the arena for the whole afternoon. Please contact Stephanie Scribner.
