Andrea Waldo Clinic

July 15, 2024

Dates: October 6, 2024

Please join Hidden Meadow Farm at Lucky 7 Equestrian Center in hosting Andrea Waldo on Sunday October 6th!
–
About Andrea:
Andrea is an eventer and the author of Brain Training For Riders: Unlock Your Riding Potential with StressLess Techniques for Conquering Fear, Improving Performance, and Finding Focused Calm. She worked as a psychotherapist for 18 years; during this time, she gained a deep understanding of how trauma can affect our lives. In 2016 she competed her homebred mare TCF Quantum Leap at the Advanced Level and has competed through 3rd level in dressage.

Andrea works to help many adult amateurs confront fear and anxiety in their riding to bring out their best selves in the saddle. Her farm, Triple Combination Farm, is based in Ferrisburgh, VT where she works with her two business partners Mary Brust and Chris Armstrong.
–
About the Farm:
Our farm is situated on 55 acres in upstate New York, about 5 minutes off exit 10 from I-87. We have a long stone driveway that wraps around our indoor arena for easy traveling.
Our arenas are sand based and have been professionally regraded within the last 12 months.

–
About the Clinic:
This clinic is intended to be an all day event, not just “show up for your time.” We begin our day with a 3 hour workshop based on Andrea’s book “Brain Training for Riders”
After a lunch break we will begin mounted sessions.
Mounted sessions will take place in the afternoon. All flatwork/non-jumping are private sessions. We have a limited number of private sessions available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Groups will consist of 2-4 riders based on current riding level and goals (please share in your registration).
************
Fees:
All fees include lunch.
Riders: $200 per person
Unmounted (Workshop + Audit Mounted Sessions): $60
Afternoon Auditing Only (No Workshop): $20
To register, please fill out the form below (at the bottom of the description). Stephanie will reach out to you to complete your registration (collect payment, release forms, health information).
************
Each rider may have one trainer, parent, or groom. All participants riding or non-riding must sign a release and pre-register prior to the event. Spots are not reserved until payment is received in full. Payments are not refundable unless your spot is able to be filled from the waitlist.
Horses must have negative coggins and rabies vaccine within 12 months of clinic. Proof of flu/rhino within 6 months. If using a day stall you must also have a strangles vaccine within 12 months.
Limited day stalls are available. Please let us know as soon as possible to reserve your stall. Stalls must be clean when you leave, pitchforks and wheelbarrows are available on the farm.
–
Photographers will be on-site, TBA.
–
Additional Notes:
Limited vendor spots may be available. Please reach out to Stephanie Scribner to discuss.
We will need a couple of volunteers (2-3) to work on the jump crew for the afternoon. We will provide lunch. Please be available to work the arena for the whole afternoon. Please contact Stephanie Scribner.
