RABT Spring Tune Up Derby

March 6, 2018

Dates: April 15, 2018

Get some cross-country jumping in before UNH! Courses will be a mixture of stadium and cross-country fences. Typically we start in the sand ring, do a small loop around the top field that incorporates the water jump, then finish back in the arena. The ditches and bank will most likely not be open for schooling. Warm-up is on grass.

Divisions: Crossrails (18″ at the standards, simple logs, water optional) Elementary (2′ verticals, no oxers, water optional) Beginner Novice (2’7″, water included, combinations in ring) Novice (2’11”, water, combinations in ring) Training (3’3″, water included, combinations, will only run if entries warrant) Divisions may be divided by JR/SR with enough entries. Ribbons for first-sixth place for each division. Scoring follows USEA stadium jumping rules (4 penalties for first refusal or knockdown, etc); ties broken by fastest time.

Additional unjudged rounds may be added. Any horse/rider and division combination accepted. Additional rounds are untimed and unscored. You may circle, skip fences or take an option fence after a refusal. Coaching by your trainer/coach is permitted and encouraged. Your coach may lower a fence if necessary.

$30 entry (1 round). Additional rounds $10 each. Pre-entry discount is $25, deadline 7pm, Monday before the event. Check the Rest & Be Thankful Equestrian Facebook page or our website for additional information and updates.
