Wendy Murdoch, International Riding Instructor/Clinician and Murdoch Method founder, is among the
most skillful teachers you will encounter in any discipline. Wendy’s discerning eye and depth of
knowledge enables her to differentiate inherent or habitual horse body issues from current rider-induced
horse issues and address them both. She spots the root cause of the training/riding problem in seconds,
distills it down to the essential pieces of information that are missing in either the horse or rider’s
understanding and provides clear and accurate solutions to resolve the problems. In her quest to share
her knowledge Wendy has presented at Equine Affaire, Equitana, authored books and developed
materials she shares through the internet.
Wendy is a life-long learner and teacher, her studies include apprenticeship with Sally Swift, extensive
training with Linda Tellington-Jones, Dr. Joyce Harman, Jon Zahourek (Anatomy in Clay®
), Dr. Hilary Clayton and work with Bettina Drummond and countless others. To help her guide students towards
better function Wendy became a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner® and continues her study
through Dr. Feldenkrais’ first assistant, Mia Segal. Her fascination with the mind/body connection
between horse and rider allows Wendy to bring a wealth of knowledge in human and equine movement
and anatomy to working with students and their horses.
