The Norfolk Field Hunter Trials

September 24, 2018

Dates: September 30, 2018

The Norfolk Hunter Trials is designed to test the bravery and training of a Field Hunter.  It has a mixture of inviting cross country jumps and mounted obstacles, such as opening a gate from horseback and dismounting and leading a horse over an obstacle.  The Hunter Trials are an excellent place to bring an event horse to school in a friendly atmosphere.  They also are a great way to get your aspiring Hunter Derby Horse introduced to natural obstacles.  All non-hunt horses are invited to compete in the Open Divisions.  The jumps on the Novice Course range from 2’ to 2’6”, and the jumps on the Senior Course range from 3’ to 3’6”.

Location: Norfolk Steeplechase Course
240 North Street, Medfield MA
