A two-evening horsemanship clinic: August 6- 7, 6-8pm, $80 for both nights.
Max Corcoran has been grooming at the highest level of equestrian sport for over fourteen years for some of the best riders in the world. Now, as a freelance groom, she also teaches horsemanship clinics for the USEA and the USEF Developing Rider programs, and is on the Faculty for the Equine Management Training Center at Sandy River, an amazing new program that instructs and trains grooms. Additionally, Max is a Board Member of the Professional Riders Organization (PRO).
The two-evening sessions will cover topics such as: conditioning for horse and rider, nutrition 101, grooming basics, show turnout, vet 101, pre-purchase exams, alternative therapies, tack fitting and use, packing for a show, XC aftercare, and more!
