Dates: October 17, 2020-October 18, 2020
Join us for a two-day classical dressage riding clinic on October 17 & 18, 2020 in the Finger Lakes Region (just outside of Ithaca in Trumansburg, NY). PLEASE NOTE: Will Faerber, Master Horseman and co-founder of Art2Ride, will join us VIRTUALLY. Samantha Rubio, associate trainer, will be on site. We’ve done several virtual lessons with Will in order to perfect the equipment and connection. It’s truly felt like he’s on site!
About Art2Ride:
Art2Ride is based on the classical dressage principles of relaxation, suppleness, connection, and engagement. Will teaches these principles through work in hand, lunging and riding. These principles can be applied to any discipline of riding. His approach is beneficial to all horses, and it will develop a willing equine partner. With this patient and progressive system, horses suffering from kissing spine or other injuries – physical or emotional – can be rehabilitated. And horses excelling in their disciplines will progress even further and without injury.
About Will Faerber:
Will Faerber, Founder of Art2Ride, is a Master Horseman who studied extensively in Portugal with Nuno Oliveira, whom he considers to be his greatest influence. He has been training professionally for over 40 years, and competed in eventing, jumping and dressage as well as coaching his students to regional and state championships, including Horse of the Year awards. He competed on the prestigious Florida dressage circuit for 3 years where he and his horses were consistent winners. He was awarded his Silver Medal on a horse that was scheduled to be euthanized because he was considered to be dangerous. The horse was trained by Will himself — a true testament to his abilities, training techniques and the Art2Ride system.
Riding lessons are private one-hour for $150. (This is a great opportunity to study with Will at a reduced cost since there’s no travel costs.) Auditing is available on-site, but limited to just a few people due to COVID restrictions, and via livestream too.
