KENT SCHOOL RIDING PROGRAM
The Kent School Riding Program offers
instruction in Equitation, Hunters, Jumpers, and Combined Training. Riders compete in a
number of AHSA and USEA recognized shows and events. Kent School riders have the
opportunity to travel to other facilities to practice over unfamiliar courses. A visit to
the National Horse Show at Madison Square Garden is an annual outing for the Team. Students
may bring their own horses or ride one of the School's quality horses. Kent encourages
involvement in the Riding Program by riders of every skill level.
Kent School has been most privileged to have as its Head Instructor, Michael Page, who is
an Olympic Medal winner, former coach to the Three Day Event Canadian Olympic Team, and
served as the U.S. Equestrian Team Chef D'Equipe in 1992. In addition, Michael has judged
the AHSA's Medal and Maclay National Equitation Final seven times.
