***Therapy Horse Needed***: We are currently looking for a new horse to join our team at the Therapeutic Equestrian Center in Holyoke, MA. The cornerstone of our entire program is our wonderful herd of horses! Every day they give their all to make sure our riders have a safe, enjoyable, and beneficial ride.

Here are a few of the traits we are looking for in a new horse:
•Healthy and sound (at least for walk/trot)
•14.2-16 hands, preferably a stocky build (we love small draft crosses!!)
•Geldings are preferred
•Quiet, gentle, and easy going
•Enjoys being around people. Must be able to tolerate having lots of people around and handling them, even while in a lesson as most of their lessons will be with a leader and sidewalkers walking alongside the rider.
•Adapts well to new situations and equipment

If you have or know of a horse who you think has the potential to be a good therapy horse please get in contact with us and we can discuss it further. Horses can be donated or leased to the program after coming on a trial period. 4135321462 info@equestriantherapy.org

ISO On-Farm Lease - BN/N Eventer: Casually in search of a low level eventer for quarter/half lease (2-4x a week). This would have to be on farm. College student who is home for the spring/summer months and breaks throughout the year. Looking for a horse capable of competing beginner novice/novice eventing (jumping around 3ft) or that at least has basic dressage/jump training. Would love something with novice level experience in eventing, but not a deal breaker. 15-16.2hh would be ideal, not looking to spend more than $400-500 a month, would be great if lessons were included in lease. Would like to compete in a few events this season, sanctioned or schooling shows. I have ridden and owned Thoroughbreds, but do best with a kick ride and really looking for a sane/laid back horse to enjoy and have fun on. Located in North Shore MA, but willing to travel within an hour of Peabody, MA (North shore, Southern NH/Maine). Willing to do some work in exchange for riding. shauna.dempsey25@gmail.com
