***Therapy Horse Needed***: We are currently looking for a new horse to join our team at the Therapeutic Equestrian Center in Holyoke, MA. The cornerstone of our entire program is our wonderful herd of horses! Every day they give their all to make sure our riders have a safe, enjoyable, and beneficial ride.

Here are a few of the traits we are looking for in a new horse:
•Healthy and sound (at least for walk/trot)
•14.2-16 hands, preferably a stocky build (we love small draft crosses!!)
•Geldings are preferred
•Quiet, gentle, and easy going
•Enjoys being around people. Must be able to tolerate having lots of people around and handling them, even while in a lesson as most of their lessons will be with a leader and sidewalkers walking alongside the rider.
•Adapts well to new situations and equipment

If you have or know of a horse who you think has the potential to be a good therapy horse please get in contact with us and we can discuss it further. Horses can be donated or leased to the program after coming on a trial period. 4135321462
